Sustainable development is an ongoing journey of personal and organizational transformation. Building on the 2024 ARL President’s Institute, ARL is hosting a virtual workshop series to keep our foot on the pedal of sustainable development. Through this program, we aim to help unlock the potential of research libraries—and research librarians—and to make sure their contributions are recognized in their institutions.

The series will be facilitated by Henry McGhie, keynote speaker at the 2024 ARL President’s Institute and the founder of Curating Tomorrow. The format includes a conversational meeting space aided by expert learning content and material where we can collectively share our goals, progress, and challenges in taking everyday action for sustainable development and hold one another accountable for the betterment of us all.
