- Once installed, open the app (be sure to accept notifications) and search for “ARL Spring Meeting”

First-Time Tips for Member Reps
Welcome to your first Association Meeting, we look forward to meeting you! Review these First-Time Facts to get you started. Check out the ARL member benefits web pages for more information about what’s available to you.
Airport Transportation
It's easy (and recommended) to get from Denver International Airport (DEN) to downtown Denver on the airport rail line. The Denver Airport Rail has six stops between the airport and Denver Union Station. The 23-mile ride takes approximately 37 minutes and costs $10.50 one way to/from the airport to Union Station. At speeds up to 79 mph, the rail line includes overhead storage, luggage towers, and bicycle racks. Union Station is three-quarters of a mile from the Grand Hyatt.
Ride-share options are also available and may take up to 90+ minutes to reach downtown, based on traffic, time of day, and weather.
Attire & Local Weather
Dress comfortably in layers—meeting room temperatures can vary and the Denver weather can also be unpredictable, with fluctuations in temperature and snow/sun. Denver is called the mile-high city for a reason, so be sure to hydrate more than usual.
Parking
The hotel offers self-parking for $38 a day and valet parking at $54 overnight.
Meals
Breakfast, lunch, and beverages will be provided Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The Monday and Tuesday evening events are also included; these two events required pre-registration.
Meeting Rooms
The Colorado Ballroom is the main session space and is located on the second floor of the hotel. Other meeting rooms are noted throughout the program agenda. The hotel map is available in the meeting app.
Offsite Events Transportation
An Uber voucher will be offered to attendees through the Meeting App for each evening event. The voucher should cover the cost of a ride (excludes tip), each way, to both the Downtown Aquarium and Odell Brewing Sloan’s Lake.
For both environmental and budgetary benefit, please consider ride-sharing. If you don’t have access to the Uber app, pair up and ride with others or see an ARL staff member for support.
Those attending the University of Colorado Boulder Library Tour on Wednesday afternoon, logistics and transportation details have been provided; this experience required pre-registration.
Social Media
Social media postings during and after the Association Meeting are permitted. Unless otherwise stated, we will be using the Chatham House Rule. Please use the hashtag #ARLMeeting across platforms so that other participants and followers can join the discussion.
Wednesday Luggage Storage
For those departing on Wednesday following the meeting, monitored luggage storage will be available in the Connectivity Lounge (Maroon Peak Room), across the foyer from the Colorado Ballroom for easy access. We appreciate not having luggage in the Colorado Ballroom.
