Experiential learning in a new format is at the heart of our fall program. As a community, we will explore strategies that promote mental and physical well-being among team members and foster a supportive and inclusive workplace. Through speakers and curated discussions, we’ll delve into the power of empathy in leadership. Participants will learn from speakers’ and colleagues’ leadership journeys and identify strategies that can enhance their own leadership capacity.

In addition to invited speakers, participants will have opportunities to engage in tours and conversations with organizations beyond libraries, to witness how other industries blend theoretical knowledge with real-world scenarios. By stepping outside our own norms and experiencing leadership in diverse contexts, we can uncover valuable opportunities for enhancing our own leadership excellence.

This meeting, and all of its functions, will be offered on October 8 and 9 in an in-person format only. It is expected that the member representative will register their attendance (accept/decline) and represent the member library, except in unusual circumstances.
