Kris is the department head for the Access, Information, and User Services department at the Montana State University Library in Bozeman, Montana. An experienced academic librarian by trade (information literacy, instruction, and reference), in 2006 she transitioned into consultation and project management at the Colorado State Library, Colorado Department of Education. In late 2014 she moved back to higher education in an administrative and managerial role at the Montana State University Library. Kris' top five CliftonStrengths are Consistency, Ideation, Arranger, Command, and Significance. Based on her ideation trait, she has a keen interest in the user experience, particularly through the lens of Service Design.
