Speaker Bio
She came into her UXR role about two years ago. Beth originally came to OSU in 2015 as a department head of a new combined unit called LEAD - library experience and access department. This new department was to have a user focused lens, which Beth grew both externally with student users and also within the staff experience. After 7.5 years she decided to step out of management and apply the experience in a new UXR role, housed in library administration, reporting to the Dean. Through her past work with design thinking, specially service design, along with the ethnographic user experience lens she now coordinates library wide UXR, helping all areas and people to be curious, think about users behaviors, journeys, barriers and needs.
