Speaker Bio
Steve Borrelli is the head of Library Assessment for the Penn State University Libraries. Since 2016, he’s led an Assessment Department focused on stakeholder engagement, supporting strategic and operational needs, and promoting a culture of assessment. As head of Library Assessment, Steve brings a user first perspective to his work, elevating the voices of stakeholders to improve library services and experiences. Steve also leads strategic planning implementation for the university libraries and takes a systems-thinking approach to consider avenues to efficiency and service improvement. Prior to his time at Penn State, Steve spent over a decade with the Washington State University Libraries where he led assessment and planning.
