Learning Outcomes

  1. Participants will identify the essential components of assessment tools designed to explore student academic engagement, library use, self-regulation, and students’ own definition of academic success.
  2. Participants will be able to adapt assessment tools to the needs of their local institution.
  3. Participants will articulate the comprehensive process of utilizing assessment tools, including identifying potential barriers to obtain students’ demographics both within and outside of the library. d. Participants will depart with a toolkit of practical applications tailored to their institution's specific needs, ready for immediate implementation to enhance their understanding of student experiences and support academic success.
