Violet Fox (she/her) is a Cataloging & Metadata Librarian at Galter Health Science Library at Northwestern University. She is a white, cisgender settler living in what is currently known as Chicago. Violet is a previous editor of the Dewey Decimal Classification and the Sears List of Subject Headings as well as the creator of the Cataloging Lab.
