Kalyani is a recent graduate of Masters of Management in Library & Information Science (MMLIS) program from University of Southern California (USC). She is an avid reader with interests in diverse genres. During her time in the MMLIS program she explored her research and professional interests through internships- especially as research assistant and member of the student advisory board for Grant funded project focusing on integrating DEIA+AR principles in the MMLIS program at USC. Her collaborative work with the DEIA+AR Committee produced a research guide that is open access (https://libguides.usc.edu/c.php?g=1289806&p=9472263 ) to contribute to the profession conversation on DEIA+AR work in LIS programs. Kalyani’ s diverse cultural experiences sets her apart and gives her an eye for being open to each individual and her work interests have taken through diverse professional endeavors. Currently, Kalyani is working as a research assistant on a grant funded systematic-review of Sustainability Initiatives on College Campuses.
