Fangmin Wang (him/his) is a librarian at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). He is currently overseeing the development of the TMU Libraries Collaboratory, an interdisciplinary research hub. He is also a liaison librarian supporting the computer science, data science, and cyber science academic programs. As the former Head of Library Information Technology Services at TMU, he played a critical role in the Libraries’ digital transformation and led several large-scale digital initiatives and projects on the campus and beyond, such as the Digital Media Experience Lab, eCampusOntario-funded OER Library, and the Immersion Studio. As the creator of the Collaboratory, Fangmin was recognized as an Innovator by the Library Journal’s Movers and Shakers 2019 award program. He has served more than 10 years as a member of the Advisory Board for Centre for Digital Humanities at TMU.
