Frederick Carey is the History & Philosophy Librarian at the University of Colorado Boulder. He earned his MLIS from the University of Denver and received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with minors in Medieval & Byzantine Studies and Theology & Religious Studies from the Catholic University of America. Frederick’s research focuses on advancing academic libraries to better support neurodiverse users and librarians, curating inclusive collections, and leverage advances in technology and computational research methods to challenge colonial structures in the scholarly ecosystem.
