Vivian Lewis has served as McMaster's Associate Vice-President and University Librarian since 2013. She is a former President of the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Research Libraries. She currently serves as a member of the CARL Impact Committee - which directs the ongoing development and delivery of CARL’s Statistics Program, and develops new evaluation methodologies and measures to ensure that CARL members gather and deploy solid evidence to support decision-making.
