Alexa Pearce is Associate University Librarian (AUL) for Research at the University of Michigan (U-M). Pearce provides leadership for the library's disciplinary expertise and engagement with the university's activities to advance research, scholarship, and creative practice. Pearce received her MSLIS from Long Island University and her MA in History from New York University (NYU). Previous roles have included Director of Social Sciences & Clark Library at U-M, Librarian for History & American Culture at U-M, and Librarian for Journalism, Media, Culture & Communication at NYU. Pearce has held teaching appointments at the University of Michigan School of Information, Long Island University, and the Pratt Institute.
