Dr. Robin Havens Tate is a Senior Professional Analysis and Planning Consultant, Assessment Department, at Penn State University Libraries. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with concentrations in psychometrics/assessment/statistics/complex problem solving and her M.Ed. in Instructional Systems Design at Penn State University. She earned her B.A. in Economics from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College.

Dr. Tate joined the Penn State University Libraries in June, 2023. She conducts research on lifelong learning, DEIB, organizational effectiveness, and project management. From 2016-2023, she focused on additive manufacturing engineering education for Penn State's College of Engineering in roles as the Director of Professional Programs Outreach and as a Sr. Instructional Designer. She has taught courses in statistics, project management, and doctoral research methods for Penn State. Prior to her work at Penn State, Dr. Tate was an editor for McGraw-Hill Higher Education Publishing and Harcourt Brace Publishers.
