Criss Guy is the student success and engagement librarian with the University Libraries at UNC-Chapel Hill. Working out of the Undergraduate Library, he collaborates with library colleagues and other campus partners to promote student success and wellbeing. His emphasis is on research support, information literacy, and lifelong learning for undergraduates. As a first-generation college graduate, he aims to develop inclusive programming and services that demystify parts of the college experience for students and connect them with the information they need. He comes most recently from the Warren Wilson College Library, where he worked as the research and instruction librarian. Prior to that, he earned his master’s degree in information science from UNC-Chapel Hill while working as a Carolina Academic Library Associate (CALA) for the University Libraries.
