Cairo Sanders has a B.Sc. In Computer Science and Psychology, with a minor in statistics from The University of Victoria. During her undergrad she curated her courses to her interest in data, thus focusing on topics like machine learning, databases, and data visualizations. She graduated in 2022 and has been working with the University of Victoria Libraries data ever since. Cairo works with Librarians and other library staff to help them make sense of their data. Her favorite tools to work with are Power BI and Python. On her off days you can find Cairo at a themed local event in a costume and intricate makeup. She tones it down slightly at work.
