Heather J. Martin, MISt, AHIP is the Medical Library Director for Providence. Based out of Oregon, Heather leads a staff of 11 serving the 52 hospitals and over 1000 clinics throughout Providence’s 7-state footprint as well as the University of Providence School of Health Professions. Heather is passionate about keeping medical libraries vital and responsive to patron needs and helping other librarians navigate change management in complex organizations in the context of hospital/system mergers.
