Reya Saliba serves as the Instruction and Outreach Librarian at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, bringing a robust academic background with a Doctorate in e-Research and Technology Enhanced Learning and a Master’s degree in Information & Library Studies. In her current role, Reya oversees the development and implementation of the Information Fluency curriculum, and offers a series of workshops aimed at enhancing the research acumen of students, faculty, and staff. These workshops encompass a comprehensive range of topics, including research methodologies, effective information retrieval strategies, literature and systematic reviews, information synthesis, critical evaluation, and ethical implications of Generative AI.

Reya spearheads the CMU-Q library’s outreach initiatives, actively forging strategic collaborations with CMU-Q’s academic divisions and offering a series of outreach activities designed to address the specific needs of the CMU-Q community and to provide opportunities that foster students' development.
