Holt is the Assessment Librarian at the BYU Library. He is responsible for the user experience and process improvement assessments of library services, spaces, resources, and personnel. He coordinated or conducted over 110 assessments of academic library services, spaces, resources, and personnel interactions with patrons and library employees, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications as well as two dozen conference and workshop presentations. He also oversees the library’s internal review process. He is the Associate Editor of the Performance Measurement and Metrics Journal. He edited the book “Assessing Academic Library Performance: A Handbook”.
