Dr. Erin Sweeney Smith serves as Instruction & Outreach Librarian at the Kelvin Smith Library on the campus of Case Western Reserve University. Her research interests include promoting the use of mental mapping in information literacy sessions as well as studying the uses of popular culture in academic libraries, including zine-making. She currently teaches a course applying digital literacy to a variety of online communities, focusing on marginalized community spaces and populations.
