Beth is a STEM Librarian on the Researcher Services team at the University of California, Davis Library where she provides support to researchers on data practices, statistics, professional identity, and scientific communication. Prior to coming to UCD a year and a half ago, Beth served as a STEM Librarian for four years at the University of Oklahoma Libraries. Beth also earned a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Oklahoma and a M.S. in Biology from Texas Christian University studying mercury contamination in aquatic and terrestrial foodwebs. Beth is also active in advocating for improved healthcare for the transgender and non-binary community though trainings and education events for current and future healthcare professionals. When Beth is not working, she is an avid D&D player and forever-GM. She also enjoys having adventures with her wife and 1 year old daughter whenever she has the chance.
