Chris Sturgeon is an Assistant Librarian at the USF Library on the Tampa campus. His pronouns are he/him/his. He liaises with the College of Business and the Mass Communication and Advertising School. Before joining USF, Chris worked as a librarian for the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative. During that time, he served for two years on Hillsborough County’s DEI Committee, providing information about library initiatives and assisting with general committee planning. Chris is committed to fostering inclusivity and learning in his current role as an academic librarian. Serving on the USF Libraries Diversity and Inclusion Committee, he actively contributes to creating an environment where information is easily accessed, and all voices are heard and celebrated.
