After working in the tech industry for 20 years, Nancy chose a second career in librarianship. Since obtaining her MLIS from San Jose State University in 2019 she has worked at Sacramento City College as a Public Services librarian, and at UC Davis as the Library Diversity Fellow and as a Student Services librarian, supporting undergraduate students in the subject areas of arts, humanities, and social sciences. As a member of the UC Davis Library Strategic Plan Steering Committee, Nancy’s contributions focused on student success, culturally relevant instructional practices, and outreach to students from first-generation and historically and structurally marginalized backgrounds.
