Paul R. Hottinger is an associate librarian and Co-Head in the Research & Instruction Services unit within the University Library at California State Polytechnic, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona). Paul is the subject liaison to the College of Engineering, the library’s Instruction Coordinator, as well as a professor for the library's credit-bearing general education course. Paul earned his Master's in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. His research focuses on first-year students, sense of belonging, and the fearless classroom model.
