Lucy Gan graduated from the Faculty of Information (now the iSchool), University of Toronto, in 2006 with the Master of Information Studies (MISt) specializing in library and information science. In 2008, she joined the Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library (EAL), University of Toronto. With over fifteen years’ experience of working in the field of East Asian librarianship, she has a strong, attested passion to serve the learning, teaching, and research needs of students and faculty in the field of East Asian Studies. In addition to the MISt, Lucy also has a M.A. degree in East Asian Studies (University of Toronto, Canada) and a M.A. degree in Translation Studies (Chongqing University, China).
