Prior to joining OER for Social Justice, I fell into the world of open education by co-creating an OER and improving it with the inclusion of student work. Though OER lowers the financial obstacles to education many of us have experienced, I am invested in the ways open and inclusive pedagogy can validate and amplify student voices and myriad lived experiences to create meaningful educational experiences.
