Katherine is the Manager, Administration and Programs at the Canadian Association of Research Libraries and has been involved in projects and initiatives of interest to all library types for over 25 years. Working with CARL’s Public Policy Committee, she develops policies and strategies that promote and advocate for the academic library community with Canada’s federal government. She was the first Executive Director for the Canadian Federation of Library Associations, where her interest for access to knowledge and information for people who are print disabled began. Katherine was the staff lead for the joint CARL/ARL Marrakesh Treaty Implementation project and works with many stakeholder groups to advance the goals of the association.
