Nicole Westerdahl (she/any) is a Research, Instruction, and Outreach Librarian at the State University of New York at Oswego, where she chairs the Penfield Library Diversity Committee and serves as liaison librarian to the School of Business, the Communication Studies department, and the Triandiflou Institute for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Transformative Practice. Prior to joining SUNY Oswego, Nicole worked as the Reference & Access Services Librarian at the Special Collections Research Center at Syracuse University Libraries, where she co-chaired the SUL Diversity & Inclusion Team. Nicole's research and teaching interests include inclusive hiring practices, open educational resources, inclusive teaching and reference practices, metadata, and citations/referencing. Nicole serves as a peer reviewer for several open access journals and loves all things sheep.
