Julie Shi is Digital Preservation Librarian at Scholars Portal, providing technical services to the Ontario Council of University Libraries and organizations across Canada. In this role, she oversees the Permafrost hosted digital preservation service and Ontario Library Research Cloud storage network. She also supports preservation activities for the Scholars Portal Trustworthy Digital Repository for e-journals and books and the Borealis national research data repository. As well, she contributes to various projects and working groups with the Public Knowledge Project, Digital Research Alliance of Canada, CARL, and NASIG.
